I Have a Dream

“I have a dream today... That one day... little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. I have a dream today.” Aug 28, 1963

Martin Luther King, Jr. said this at Washington, D.C. to millions of people who wanted to stop racism. King believed that racism is bad things because people are not equal to one anther. When I read book, black people are giving same money and get less service And anther big thing is that in this period, America doesn't give vote permissions to black people. The only risen why they don't gave vote permission is black people have black skins.

I think racism is very bad thing because it's taking away equality and freedom. (I already gave why it isn't equal in Q1) American took away vote permit-ion and it's smiler like 'The Knife Of Never Letting Go' that Mayor burn all the books to control people in Prentiss Town.

People should fight for equality because it's not fare to black people. Because of skin color, Americans treat them and use like animal that in the zoo (animal show). Black people are people! So they need to get people service, not animal service.

  2. So what you are saying is that you think that racism is horrible, and you backed it up, and you also related the topic to Martin Luther King Jr's speech back in 1963. Also, you related it to some books that you read, and also the book that we are reading right now, which is the Knife of Never Letting Go. So also what you are saying is, that all people should fight for what is right, which is protect the human rights, and we shouldn't treat black people different, because black and white people are the same people. Is this correct..?

When you wrote about how we should treat all people fairly, that reminded me of the Holocaust and the Nazi Regime, and how the Nazi's all treated the Jews differently just because of their religion, and how they murdered thousands of people.
